Vanessa Robinson-Favors has over 28 years of patternmaking experience. She taught traditional and CAD patternmaking classes at Bauder College. For almost 12 years, she taught fashion design and textile science classes. She retired from Carter's/Osh Kosh/SkipHop as manager of technical support managing one of the most successful sample rooms in the country.
She has a passion for teaching and the fashion & sewn products industries.
She is trained on TukaTech 2D patternmaking software and is also the U.S. Southeast contact for Tukatech.
She is also trained on Lectra Systems Modaris, Diamino and Kaledo software as well as the Adobe Creative Suite, PDM and PLM database systems.
A graduate of Georgia State University with over 48 years of sewing and patternmaking experience.
Classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays with sessions from 8:00am until 6:00pm. The Fashion Design Entrepreneur Overview class is both in-class and online starting at 7:30pm for online classes only. Please call or email for day sessions*. After-school classes for children meet on Fridays from 3:30pm until 5:00pm. Adult classes meet two times a week for seven weeks. The Fashion Design Entrepreneur Overview meets once or twice a week with 14 or 28 sessions*.
