This is the first in three courses that uses measurements, proportions, rulers, and templates to draft a basic blueprint of the female body. You will learn how to draft a 9-piece master pattern set which will be used to derived other styles.

The student will learn the math behind the two major patternmaking methods which are point-to-point and proportional divisions.

This course also begins to introduce the student to the process of translating traditional, hardcopy patternmaking techniques to a digital environment.
