You will create and finish an original design in this class.

Draping is probably the most interesting method of patternmaking of all.
It enables the designer to "sculpt" the fabric in ways that flat patternmaking could never achieve.
After learning the fundamentals, you will proceed by learning how to unleash your creative ability to make different designs. You will start in muslin on a full-scale form and then replicate in fashion fabric on a half-scale dress form.
3 student max per class
Please be advised that we have a limited amount of dress forms. You may opt to bring your own half scale form to class.
This is a 10-week course that meets on Mondays and Fridays from 6pm until 8pm for 2 hours.
